In addition to new hours, the museum will also feature three new national travelling exhibits this fall. Each will focus on health and the human body, and will open on Oct. 1.

Eat Well, Play Well
This exhibit teaches healthy living tips and tricks in interesting and fun ways. The bilingual, interactive exhibit features settings for both English and Spanish. Guests at Eat Well, Play Well will have the opportunity to race a care fueled by breakfast foods, learn about burning calories, visit a mini grocery store to buy healthy meal ingredients, move to music and more.

Genome: Unlocking Life's Code
Genome: Unlocking Life’s Code allows participants to understand what the genome is, its scale, structure and how it plays a role in modern life. At this exhibit, guests will encounter 3-D models of a human genome, complete DNA sequencing puzzles, identify different species based on their genomes and more.

Human Plus: Real Lives + Real Engineering
Here, guests will hear the stories of those who design and use technologies intended to help people achieve their goals, ranging from everyday routines to lifelong dreams. Participants can ride in a simulated ski race, design solutions to engineering challenges, use the wheels of a wheelchair to scratch and fade music like a DJ and more.

These exhibits are included in museum admission and are free for members.
