City to Offer Free Transportation to Voters
In order to encourage citizens to vote, the City of Wichita will offer free transportation to those wearing an "I Voted" sticker on Election Day, Tues. Nov. 8. In order to receive free transportation, citizens must wear a sticker indicating that they have already voted.
Wichita Transit offers regular route bus service from 5:30 a.m. until 7:45 p.m.,on weekdays. The city's bus system highlights 17 different routes throughout the city. Transit routes operate within serval blocks of most polling places. Check out the map of bus routes and polling places below.
