Wichita Community Theatre Presents "All My Sons"

Wichita Community Theatre continues its 2018-2019 Season with the gripping drama "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller. The show runs March 6-17 at 258 N. Fountain.

How far would a man go to protect his family, his interests, and his legacy?

During World War II, Joe Keller and Steve Deever ran a machine shop that made airplane parts for the military. The shop produced defective parts which lead to the deaths of many pilots. Deever was sent to prison while Keller went free and grew the business into a very profitable company.

The shadow of this tragedy and the fact that Keller’s son Larry was reported missing during the war looms over both families. After three years, Kate Keller still clings to the hope that her son is alive. Chris Keller would like her to give up that hope because he wants to marry Ann Deever, the daughter of his father's incarcerated partner and also Larry's former fiancee. George Deever returns home to find his father in prison and his father's partner free.

"All My Sons" portrays a post-war American family in a tragic downfall of lies, greed, love and loss. This timeless tale challenges the audience to examine their own social responsibilities to all the men and woman who have served.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 or $13 for military/senior/students. There is a special opening night ticket price of $11 for all on March 6 only. Call for reservations 316-686-1282.
