Wichita Community Theatre Presents "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike"

Wichita Community Theatre continues its 2021-2022 season with "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" by Christopher Durang. This Tony Award-winning comedy runs Jan. 27-Feb. 6 at 258 N. Fountain.

Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Old resentments flare up when their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness worries the imperious Masha.

Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 or $13 for military/senior/students.
