Manilow Hospitalized, Wichita Concert Still On
Barry Manilow’s Feb. 19 Concert at Intrust Bank Arena is still on, despite the singer’s recent hospitalization.
Manilow underwent oral surgery on Monday, and performed a sold-out show in Memphis just two days later. After the concert, the star was rushed back to Los Angeles due to complications from the procedure.
Manilow canceled concerts in Nashville and Kentucky that were scheduled for Thursday and Friday, as he has been instructed not to sing or speak for 48 hours, according to a post on his Facebook page. These concerts will be rescheduled.
As of Now, Manilow’s Wichita concert on the 19 has not been affected, and the show is expected to go on as was originally scheduled.
Manilow is currently nominated for his 15th Grammy, but it remains unclear whether the singer will be able to attend Monday’s Ceremony.
