Korn leaving a lasting impression on the ICT
Two of rocks staples joined forces for the Faith No More tour that stopped in at Intrust Bank Arena this weekend. Breaking Benjamin started things off loud and proud with classics such as Diary of Jane, and So Cold. Their sound was very clean and clear for a loud raging rock show. Power chords and screaming vocals cut through with clarity and were very well received. This is about as big of a performance from an opener that I have ever seen. Not a single soul in the arena wasn’t on their feet.
Believe it or not BB did not steal the show. Korn came out from behind a massive white curtain guns blazing with hits like Here to Stay, and Blind. The whole performance was one big massive swell that climaxed with Mega hit Freak on a Leash that literally shook the arena when front man Jonathan Davis yelled “Go” before the bass drop and the entire floor section went nuts. True high energy and crowd engagement at its finest. Korn left a lasting impression on Wichita.
