Country music star Carrie Underwood has extended her 2016 Storyteller tour, now making a stop at Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena on Nov. 22.
Underwood was the first female artist to be named the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year twice, and holds a Country Music Award for Female Vocalist of the Year. She's also the recipient of seven Grammy Awards. Underwood rose to fame after a 2005 American Idol win, and has since grown to become a star in music, television and Film. Carrie Underwood has sold more than 58 million records worldwide and has released 23 number one singles.
The fall extension of Underwood's 2016 Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round adds performances in 35 cities across the United States, in addition to th spring leg of the tour, with remaining performances in 27 U.S. cities. The tour opened in January to rave reviews, has played for crowds of over 17,000 and sold out multiple shows.
“I always love being on the road performing for my fans,” shares Underwood, “but something about this tour feels more magnetic than ever. Having a 360-degree view of the audience gives me the opportunity to connect with more fans and feed off their energy. I can’t wait to continue this tour into the fall!” Underwood said.
Tickets for Underwood's Intrust Bank Arena performance will be available for purchase on April 8 at 10 a.m. Early purchase opportunities will be available for American Express® Card Members, who can purchase tickets for the U.S. shows beginning on Monday, April 4 at local noon through Thursday, April 7th at 10 p.m. local time.
