Wichita Consumer Research Center Opens
What are Midwest consumers thinking?
With the opening of the Wichita Consumer Research Center (WCRC), local and national companies have a new way to answer that question.
“Companies know they need to do consumer research, but often don’t because it’s too expensive or takes too much time,” said Bruce Rowley of WCRC. “We created WCRC to make it easier, faster and more affordable to gain consumer insights right here in Wichita.”
Wichita ranks #15 in resemblance to the national population among medium-sized markets, as per WalletHub 2016. This makes the Wichita population well-suited for national and regional market research.
“It’s all right here,” said Garion Masterson of WCRC. “We have access to such a diverse population in Wichita, from demographics to the range of industries located here. For example, if you need to reach a rural or an urban population, you’ve got both within 20 minutes of our facility.”
WCRC offers a range of market research solutions, including focus groups, brand testing and awareness, consumer behavior, product testing and development feedback, and Qualtrics-powered online survey and panel design, facilitation and reporting.
For focus groups, clients have the option of a turnkey solution (research, design, recruiting, hosting and reporting) or facility rental only. Located downtown, the facility accommodates up to 20 respondents with flexible room setups. A private viewing room for clients holds eight. Features include remote video streaming, audio and video transcribing, front door parking, handicapped access, respondent waiting area, and separate kitchen and restroom facilities for both respondents and clients.
“We combine a state-of-the-art facility with extensive recruiting and reporting capabilities,” said Rowley. “Often we can recruit and schedule groups in a matter of days, not weeks. This makes consumer research so much easier and cost-efficient for our clients.”
