The Wichita Symphony heads west for The Rose of Sonora!

Copland’s iconic Rodeo comes to life on the big screen as behind-the-scenes footage from an action-packed rodeo is projected above the WSO for a lively visual experience to match the toe-tapping music. WSO Concertmaster Holly Mulcahy is joined by a cowboy chorus for The Rose of Sonora, a cinematic violin concerto in five scenes depicting freedom, love, betrayal, and vengeance in the wild west.
