Dress Gallery highlights five separate, private suites. This means that each bride and her party will have a suite where they can feel comfortable. This way you don’t see any of the other brides like you might in other shops.

“It’s not like a competition with other brides,” Sale Manager Jillian Forsberg said. Dress Gallery features options for prom and bridesmaids, and even offers tuxedo rental, but the location is primarily focused on brides.

“We specialize in customer service and making the bride feel like she’s had the best possible experience finding her dress that she’s ever dreamed of,” Forsberg said. Dress Gallery carries several designer lines in the store and offers payment options that can accommodate any budget. Dress Gallery is located in Wichita’s Delano District and has been operating since 2008.

Reni’s Bridal Boutique has been in Wichita for 34 years, and is very experienced in finding the right dress for each bride that walks through the door.

“It’s very important that you find a dress that you like, but also a dress that fits you and your body type,” Said Tonya Lorenz of Reni’s.

The boutique carries dress sizes double zero up to 26, and has developed a niche for plus sized brides. Reni’s carries several styles in plus sizes, allowing brides to come in and actually try on their dresses rather than depending on online ordering. This way, plus size brides can actually tell how the dress fits and what style works best prior to making a purchase.  According to Lorenz, some girls come into the shop under the impression that they can’t wear a certain style because of their size, and many are surprised to find just how many options they have. Additionally, Reni’s Bridal Boutique offers customizable dresses in all sizes. For example, if the bride finds a dress she loves, but would like a different neckline, Reni’s can accommodate the order through a custom designer. This kind of personalization is a new concept.

Operating for 46 years and still going strong, PARROT-fa-NALIA is obviously doing something right. This shop, which is best known in Wichita for its Sherri Hill prom dress selection, offers unparalleled personalized customer service. Owner Nancy Bluml has established close relationship with her customers over the years, and it shows. Whether it’s a girl returning for her next prom dress, or a mom who shopped at the Parrot in the 80’s bringing in her daughter, Bluml has accumulated a wide base of repeat customers. Accent Bridal and Tux is a full service bridal shop featuring bridal gowns, tuxedos, bridesmaid dresses, veils, tiaras, and prom dresses. The shop is celebrating 30 years in Wichita this year, and it’s no surprise why.

“We have an incredible seamstress in fact I would testify that she is the best bridal/prom seamstress in Wichita.  Our friendly staff is impeccable as far as customer service is concerned,” said Tricia Bell of Accent Bridal and Tux.
