The ICT Lover's Shopping Guide
With Christmas and the holidays just around the corner, shopping can be stressful. Luckily, Wichita has a ton of shops to help you find the perfect item for the Wichita fan in your life! I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite Wichita merchandise, and where to find it.
Museum of World Treasures
835 E 1st Street
The gift shop of the museum doesn’t have too many items relevant to Wichita, but I do think that they have the coolest shirt in town. It’s an ICT-Rex!
Churn & Burn
548 S Oliver Street
Churn and Burn has their specialty shirts, and they also have shirts featuring the iconic keeper. Representing both Wichita and delicious ice cream is a dream come true.
1720 E Douglas
I remember the Donut Whole as being one of the first places I ever saw Wichita merchandise being sold. These days you can order shirts online as well as in-store while you grab those amazing donuts.
1719 N Rock Road, #103
I think Wicked Stitch is one of Wichita’s best-kept secrets. Not only do they carry Wichita-themed items, but they also do personal screen printing as well. They’ve got pillows, hats, shirts, and even wine glasses. They also have wonderful seasonal themed shirts.
1710 E Douglas Ave.
Nearly all the breweries in town have their own merchandise, but what I love most about Hopping Gnome is how they embrace Wichita in their own way. They’re known for their Wichita beers, but they also have a shirt with “There’s No Place Like Gnome” printed on the front.
Watermark Books & Cafe
4701 E Douglas Ave.
Local, literary, and independent is arguably the best way to describe Watermark Books & Cafe. It’s one of my favorite ways to shop local in Wichita; I love that I can not only pick up some Watermark Swag, but I can also pick up some Wichita swag, too.
329 N Mead
Lucinda’s is not just a women’s clothing store, it’s also home to office and novelty items that would make great stocking stuffers. Their Wichita gear section is one of my favorites because they make ICT merchandise fashionable. From jewelry to coffee mugs and everything in between, Lucinda’s has you covered for the ICT fan in your life.
They also have Wichita t-shirt inspired by the hit show "Stranger Things" — perfect for wearing while you binge watch.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the way Dillons has embraced their local neighborhoods. You can find Wichita swag there, but I love their vast assortment of Wichita State University merchandise, more. From comfy blankets to fidget spinners, Dillons has one of the best selections around for shopping for your WSU products.
535 W Douglas Ave.
Milkfloat celebrated their one year anniversary, and I couldn’t be more excited. I never knew that I needed homemade s'mores pop tarts in my life, but after having theirs, I’ve been forever changed. Representing both Wichita and their Instagram-worthy desserts sounds like one of the best ideas, ever.
Wichita Screen Printing
1433 W Douglas Ave.
They just moved into their new location three doors down from their previous residence, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they create next. Their online store allows you to design your own shirts using their online studio. They’re known for their screen printing and custom shirts, but they also have plenty of ICT shirts available in stock in their shop, too.
150 N Cleveland
From home decor and custom sewing services to fine art, The Workroom is fueled by local artisans. You can find one-of-a-kind items in this shop unique to Wichita. You’ll find the Wichita flag on a number of products: coffee mugs, pint glasses, beanies, shirts, and so much more!
