What's New on 360Wichita.com:

Best Musical Instrument Stores in Wichita

From Stan Kenton to Karla Burns, Joe Walsh, Clif Major, Rudy Love, The Wichita Symphony and the many sensationally-talented musicians that call Wichita home - there is a rich musical tradition that lives in this city which is fed through our long-standing local musical instrument shops.

These are the places where our local guitarists buy strings and new axes, where students learn to play the violin for their first orchestra classes, where local churches buy a new P.A. system for their sanctuaries and where many of us fell in love with playing music for the first time.

It’s true that online sales have encroached on the viability of our local music shops, but for seasoned musicians, there is nothing more valuable than a trusted friend at their favorite music store to provide expert sales, service and the ability to hold and play a new instrument with their hands. That’s why we wanted to dedicate a blog to our favorite local musical instrument shops here in Wichita.
