Bella Vita Bistro

One of Wichita's west side favorites, Bella Vita is known for its selection of fresh, homemade and traditional Italian cuisine. Bella Vita features an atmosphere that's quaint and quiet, making it a perfect place for a romantic dinner date. The restaurant offers large selections of both beer and wine, as well as a full bar. With so many options, Bella Vita's got something for everyone. Guests will be charmed by the villalike atmosphere at Bella Vita. The food is beautifully presented and sure to impress.  Bella Vita Bistro is located at 120 N. West Street. DeFazio's

Serving Wichita since the early 80's, DeFazio's is a long-time favorite. Owned by chef Pietro DeFazio, the restaurant is neighborhood style, and known for its Southern Italian cuisine. Combining old family recipes and fresh ingredients, DeFazio's offers its customers the best quality possible. DeFazio's use of old family recipes allows guests a taste of truly authentic Italian cuisine.

Guests can enjoy mainstay menu items, like Lasagna della Casa, grilled Italian sausage and more when visiting. Other menu options include seafood, antipasta, home style pasta, and more. If, by some miracle, you've saved room for dessert, DeFazio's offers homemade cream puffs and authentic Italian cannolis.


IL Vicino

IL Vicino is a contemporary Italian Trattoria, know for serving up some of the best wood over pizzas around. IL Vicino has two locations in Wichita. With one restaurant at at Bradley Fair and the other at College Hill, you're never too far from a great meal. In addition to a variety of pizzas, the restaurant also features several unique salads, panini sandwiches and more. You'll find a quick and easy dining experience when you visit IL Vicino, and an atmosphere that's casual but refined. The restaurant offers more than a dozen variations on their pizzas and calzones, and several drink options. If you're looking for a great drink to go with your meal, the restaurant offers Italian and California wines, both by the glass and bottled. If you need a little guidance, the staff can offer pairing suggestions.

You'll feel like a part of the family the minute you walk in to Sweet Basil! The staff friendly staff will make sure you're right at home, whether you're a regular or a first-timer. Sweet Basil is located at 2424 N Woodlawn. The location has reopened since being recently remodeled, and everyobe is invite to come in and check out the new space! Experience a new take on the same dining experience Wichitans have loved since Sweet Basil opened in 1991. Enjoy delectable menu items like Salmon Croquettes, Calamari' Fritti and more. The restaurant's new look and new menu (which still feature old favorites) is sure to keep guests coming back! Sweet Basil is open daily during lunch and dinner hours.

In 1944, Rose and Tom Simone began serving Wichita its first home-cooked Italian meals ar their first restaurant, Rosie's. In 1952, Rosie's relocated to 3411 N. Broadway, the restaurant's current location. In 1960, the name was changed to Savute's, after Rosie's brother who bought the business in 1950.

Now the restaurant has been serving Wichita for over 65 years. SAvute's added the Stick 'n' Rudder club, which draws on the City's love for aviation. The Stick 'n' Rudder club features a variety of aircraft memorabilia and even airline seats! Savute's also features a large patio that seats up to 40 people, so you can enjoy the weather with your meal. 


Angelo's Italian Restaurant

Angelo's Italian Restaurant

Recently re-opened after a 10 year hiatus, Angelo's Italian Restaurant is once again serving its famous food. The restaurant, which was originally opened by Angelo Fasciano in 1959, is a Wichita tradition. Angelo's is now owned by Jack Fasciano, Angelo's son. Jack Fasciano has reopened Angelo's at 5231 E. Central, where he and his staff are currently serving hot and ready dishes as well as take and bake items. Now Angelo's Customers can enjoy carryout items like lasagna, canneloni, manicotti, garlic bread, and even Angelo's famous pizza! The menu selection is still growing, as is the business.
