Wichita Escape Rooms

Escape Rooms have recently become a popular activity across the country. If you're not familiar with the concept of an escape room, it looks like this. You and a group of friends or family members are placed in a room (some facilities physically lock you in, others do not). You are given a scenario in which you must escape the room and a fixed amount of time in which you must do so. In order to escape, groups must solve a series of puzzles and clues. Do you think you've got what it takes? Check out these Wichita escape rooms!

Puzzle Plex

Location: 614 N. Mulberry Rd., Derby
Price: $20 per person

Puzzle Plex takes a unique approach to the traditional escape room. Opening in June of 2016, this unique escape room utilizes a high-tech approach featuring AIDA, an Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant that guides participants through the experience. An introductory video guided by AIDA sets up the scenario for the rooms, explaining that participants are now scientific test subjects in a study of the human mind when placed under pressure.

Puzzle Plex features two rooms, though neither one is necessarily harder than the other. In the Office of Dr. Ian, participants are working to discover the whereabouts of the facility's missing lead researcher, Dr. Ian. In the second room, called Project 403, focuses primarily on the participants serving as test subjects in the facility. The Office of Dr. Ian is intended to be a beginner's room, just to allow guests to get the feel for an escape room experience, and project 403 was designed to be more reliant on teamwork.

At Puzzle Plex, you've got one hour to escape, and it's priced at $20 per person. For further details, click here.
