15th Annual Tallgrass Filmfest By The Numbers

Now in its 15th year, the Tallgrass International Film Festival showcases the best of independent cinema from around the globe. Serving as a venue and a voice for independent films and filmmakers, while showcasing Wichita's cultural & artistic communities.

October 18-22, the festival will be showcasing close to 200 films from 33 different countries. The Festival will also feature Filmmaker Lab Workshops, Gala Screenings and Parties, Panels, Special Interest Film Programs, and so much more!

Putting on the festival every year takes a monumental amount of coordination, planning and time from dedicated volunteers. Here are just a few of the numbers going into the 'Stubbornly Independent' 2017 Tallgrass Filmfest.
