Exploration Place: Spring Break Edventures

Exploration Place's Spring Break Edventures offer children in grades K-5 the opportunity to participate in some unique, hands-on learning activities! Each day boasts a different theme, so bring your children out for Mammoth Monday; Cats, Wolves and Sloths, Oh My!; Winter is Here; Survive the Ice Age and End of an Era!


Great Plains Nature Center - Spring Break Nature Week

The Great Plains Nature Center's Spring Break Nature Week allows students to adventure through Kansas habitats. Each day, campers will add a new portion to a Kansas mural. Students will also have the opportunity to make snacks, construct cool crafts, go on hikes and view animal presentations! Kansas Humane Society: Spring Break Critter Camps

Time: 8 a.m. - noon (morning session) 1-5 p.m. (afternoon session)

$25 per half-day or $30 per whole day
Location: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside

Students at the Kansas Humane Society's Critter Camps can enroll for one session, two sessions or enroll for the entire week! Each day of camp will offer new activities, but morning and afternoon content will be the same. Students will receive a snack and drink during Critter Camp sessions.

Critter Camp students will learn about topics like animal safety, overpopulation, animal careers and more. Between fun lessons, tours, socialization with animals and shelter jobs, this camp offers a paws-on approach to learning!

Wichita Art Museum: Artcation

The Wichita Art Museum's Artcation program welcomes kids, high schoolers and their families for a fun, noisy time. Art Cation allows visitors to try their hand at special art projects, watch family-friendly flicks, explore the galleries, play games and more! Each day has a brand new theme, so feel free to come one day or come for all!


The Bug Lady: Bugs, Goo, and Critters Too!

Attend one day or every day at the Bug Lady's spring break camp! Each day will feature a different theme, so be prepared to learn lots of new things about bugs. Children will be provided snacks. 

Pre-enrollment is required and can be completed by email at bugs@bugladykansas.com. Please note that parents do not stay for these sessions. If you feel your child cannot stay without you, it is requested that you wait to enroll.

CityArts: Spring Break: Road Trip Across America

CityArts

Spring break campers at CityArts will have the opportunity to explore five different American cities, as this year's theme is Road Trip Across America. Focusing on elements like the history and artistic culture of cities like New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, Santa Fe and Los Angeles, this camp is sure to be a blast!

Students have the option to participate in a traditional art camp with painting, drawing, sculptural and ceramic projects, or a digital arts camp in which all projects completed on iMac computers.

Museum of World Treasures: Week of Heroes

The Museum of World Treasures's Week of Heroes id exactly what it sounds like: a week dedicated to celebrating those in uniform. Honoring both military (active duty and retired) and first responders in our community, this camp highlights members of the armed services and local law enforcement, fire protection and more, who will be on hand to visit with guests, give demonstrations, lead discussions and more.
