A Wichita Guide to Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice
Summer is on its way out, and fall is here. It’s time to get rid of the sandals, break out the UGG boots, infinity scarves and yoga pants. Then while you are out sporting your perfect fall basic look, make sure you have the best fall accessory in hand - Pumpkin Spice.
Back in 2003, a well-known coffee chain brought us a fall treat that has now become a cultural phenomenon. Now, it is so much more than just coffee. Pumpkin spice can be found in coffee, cookies, pastries, ice cream and even beers.
So, in order to maximize your pumpkin spice consumption this fall, we have brought you a Wichita guide to #allthingspumpkin.
Coffee
Ecclesia
They will have pumpkin spice lattes as well as pumpkin spice chai. Or for a sweet treat, they will be offering a pumpkin pecan French toast casserole, a pumpkin spice swirl top muffin swirled with cream cheese or cream cheese and Nutella, and a pumpkin roll.
Il Primo Espresso
Take a pumpkin break at II Primo Espresso; they offer pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin spice chai year round. Upon request, they can do just about anything pumpkin.
Meads Corner
Make sure to stop by Meads and check out their fall specials board with standard flavors including pumpkin spice – Chumpkin Pie, dirty chai with pumpkin spice, great pumpkin – hazelnut, Irish cream and pumpkin spice latte. The baristas often get creative, so be on the lookout for other fall flavors.

Verita Coffee Bar & Roastery
Their pumpkin spice latte is made with real pumpkin. It is handcrafted to such a degree; it took them 25 full batches to get the recipe right. It's as good as they’re ever going to be able to make it, and that's how they like it.
So in a nutshell, their pumpkin spice latte is handcrafted from scratch from real pumpkin and the absolute best ingredients.

Churn and Burn
Pumpkin spice coffee is good, and pumpkin spice ice cream is good. But to make them even better, combine them into a Pumpkin Spice Churn and Burn. And don’t forget to ask for their secret menu item! Songbird Juice Co.
This fall, you can stop by Songbird Juice Co. for a few delicious fall flavors. However, if it is the pumpkin spice flavor you are after, you need to try their Pumpkin Spice Chia Pudding, topped with house made granola and dried cranberries. It’s a simple grab and go item, but it’s good that is packed with nutrients and you can feel good about eating.
Beer
Hopping Gnome
Hopping Gnome will not have a pumpkin beer this season. However, we’ve heard that on November 17th at 6 pm in their taproom, you can join them for their Thirkin Thursday where they will tap a pumpkin spice firkin. Their firkin’s are small casks of beer that they tap for one night only.
