Abode Venue is a modern event space that is a treat for the eyes. They know how to set the mood with their special lighting techniques, soaring ceilings, and stained concrete floors. They can host weddings, holiday parties, corporate events, trade shows and concerts. The building offers three rooms with a capacity of 78 - 300 people.
Kansas Aviation Museum
Impress any out of town guests and introduce them to the Air Capital with an event at the old Wichita Municipal Airport. Take a tour of the historic airport, glance at the dozen aircraft on display and take a look at the runway from the old control tower. This is a sure way to make your event an experience.
Kansas Star Casino
This casino, hotel and event center has all the components of stay, work and play. Located just south of Wichita, this casino can accommodate an array of functions from intimate gatherings to sit-down dinners for up to 700 guests. The catering professionals and audio/visual team will help make sure your meeting, banquet or convention goes off without a hitch.

Museum of World Treasures
If you don’t mind hosting an event alongside Ivan the 38 foot long T-Rex, then this may be an eclectic experience you may like. The museum offers space for family reunions, birthday parties, corporate events and social functions. Their banquet space seats approximately 200.
Mark Arts offers an inspiring location for birthday parties, receptions, business meetings and even painting parties! They can hold anywhere from 12-150 guests. Mark Arts lives up to their mission statement to provide Wichita with opportunities to appreciate and create art.
Have your event at a coffee shop! Mead’s Corner not only offers coffee and gelato, it has space in the back for small to medium sized meetups, church groups, open mic nights and concerts. Plus they are open late for all the night owls. (Sun-Thurs 11 pm, Fri-Sat. 1 a.m.)
Located just North of Wichita in Valley Center, this very intimate venue specializes in multi-course farm to table dinners. This is a great spot for business gatherings, rehearsal dinners, baby and wedding showers, birthday and anniversaries. It can accommodate groups with 12 to 120 guests. During the summer months, your guests can go out and pick their own blackberry brambles!
City Arts is another option for those looking for an artistic setting for their event. It’s located downtown and has space for groups of 10 to 100 guests. Guests can get up close and personal with painting and sculptures and feel like they are part of the exhibit themselves. City Arts is also within walking distance from shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
Candela at the LUX
Candela is located on the first floor of the LUX apartment building and has the ability to host 80-300 people. Built in 1954, the LUX has unique mid-century modern architecture and is located in downtown Wichita. The venue has partnered with Larkspur for catering for both weddings and events.
