Marvel Universe Live at Intrust Bank Arena, April 15-17
"Ooh" and "Ahh" as all of your favorite Marvel Heroes take the stage at Intrust Bank Arena this weekend! Marvel Universe Live, presented by Feld Entertainment Inc., highlights epic battles between characters we know and love. Watch as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man and Wolverine work together to defeat Loki. The performance also features exciting encounters with Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Red Skull, Madame Hydra, Aldrich Killian, Electro and more!
Shows will begin at 7 p.m. on April 15; 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on April 16; and at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on April 17. Tickets are priced at $11, $22, $35, $50, $75 and $100.
Blue Jean Bingo Night at Abode Venue, April 15
Abode Venue hosts Blue Jean Bingo Night on April 15. Come out and enjoy food from local eateries while you play bingo for great prizes valued up to $100! Each game will be called by a local celebrity, and the event will feature silent auctions to participate in! The event will benefit local people with disabilities.
Each ticket will include bingo games with two cards per game, hors d'oeuvres, complimentary beer & wine, a cash bar, silent auction and more. Tickets ate $65 per person or $500 per table of 8.
Disco Night at Bliss Bouldering and Climbing Complex, April 15
This Friday, come out to Bliss Bouldering and Climbing Complexfor Disco Night! Guests can get their groove on as they climb, as Bliss will highlightfestive lights and favorite disco hits. On Disco Night, Bliss will make sure your climbing experience is totally far out! Guests with a membership and climbing gear are all set and ready to climb! If you don't have these things, chill, man! All you need is a regular day pass, as the facility offers equipment rentals.
Disco night at Bliss Bouldering and Climbing Complex runs from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on April 15. Come by and have a groovy time.
Rick Gutierrez at the Loony Bin, April 15-16
Catch Rick Gutierrez at The Loony Bin this weekend! Gutierrez is known for his takes on traditional family values and marriage. He's performed for audiences all over the country, and now he makes a stop right here in Wichita!
Shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Fridat and Saturday, and general admission tickets are $15.
This is a Special Engagement event, so no coupons or passes will be accepted.
Tulips, Forts and Fairies at Botanica, April 16
Botanica's Tulips, Fairies & Forts returns, bringing with it a variety of crafts, activities, games and tulips! Tulips, Forts and Fairies will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. This is the last week of the event, so you won't want to miss it! This weekend, the event highlights a visit from the Bug Lady! Learn about all sorts of creepy crawlies, and if you're lucky, you might even get to hold some of them! If you're feeling really lucky, compete in the Fairy House Competition! When you compete, you'll be asked to build a fairy house. Make your house the best it can be, because the builder of the winning house will be awarded a free Botanica Membership! A copy of the Fairy House Competition form can be found here.
Tulips Forts and Fairies is included with general admission ($7 adults, $5 kids, free for ages 3-12,) and is free for members.
Fairy Tea Party at Botanica, April 16
A Fairy Tea Party will also take place on April 16. From 1 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., guests can enjoy a magical experience! The event will feature a performance by Ballet Wichita, and each child in attendance will be given a pair of their very own fairy wings! Botanica's new Lotus Hall will be filled with lovely white tables, where strawberry tea, lemonade and water will be served. Croissant Sandwiches and other treats will be provided by Blue Moon Caterers. Children are welcome to explore various craft stations. Make a flower crown, a fairy wand and more!
First Seating for the event will take place from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with tea from 10-11:30 a.m. and Ballet Wichita performing at 11:30 a.m. the second seating will begin at 11:30 a.m., and Ballet Wichita will perform from 11:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Tea will be served from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tickets to this event are $35 per child, $30 per child member, and $10 per adult. Foreigner at the Kansas Star Casino, April 16
Get ready to rock! Foreigner performs at the Kansas Star Casino on Saturday, April 16. At 7:30 p.m., don't miss out on the live performance of hits like "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice" and many more. Foreigner has has accumulated more than six gold and platinum RIAA awards. The group receives more than 700,000 views each week on YouTube. Foreigner’s most recent release, “The best of Foreigner 4 and More” has also been the groups most successful. This is a show you wont want to miss.

Color Party X at the Wichita Art Museum, April 16
Wichita Art Museum Contemporaries celebrate 10 years of frolic and festivity this year with the Color Party X event! Color Party X is being called the Wichita Art Museum's event of the year, but that is it all about? There's only one way to find out! Discover what the stylish crop of young, energetic museum advocates have in store for you at Color Party X! Find your color and have a ball at Color Party X!
The event runs from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Tickets are $150 each, or $300 for couples.
Once Upon a Time at Old Cowtown Museum, April 16
Storybooks come alive at Cowtown's Once Upon A Time. Guests will be able to interact with childhood characters from the Victorian Era, like the Mad Hatter, Mother Goose and more! The event will feature crafts, tea parties, pirate fights, games, and more! Guests are invite dto dress up as their favorite storybook characters as enjoy the fun!
Cowtown's Empire Hall will offer performances throughout the day, including a performance of "The Three Little Pigs" by the Wichita Children's at 11 a.m., Spinning Tales by Pamela Lamont at 1 p.m., The Wichita Griots at 2:30 p.m., and Cinderella...The TRUE Story by Twyla Smith at 4 p.m.
Guests can visit the Southern Hotel at 10:30 a.m, 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. for story time provided by the Wichita Public Library. Next to the Depot, don't miss a pirate comedy show by the Scallywags! The show will be performed at various times throughout the day.
