Your Wichita Guide to St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is on March 17th, and that means it's time to start preparing for the festivities! Celebrate with the luck o' the Irish right here in Wichita at these local events!
This year St Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday, which means many bars and venues will be celebrating on Saturday the 16th.
There are plenty of live music acts happening as well, too many to list in fact so check out our live music calendar for those.
St. Patrick's Day Parade in Delano -16th

As per Wichita tradition, Delano hosts its annual St. Patrick's day parade once again. Beginning at high noon on March 16th at the intersection of Douglas and McLean and running all the way to Douglas and Walnut, the parade is truly a sight to see!
Wear your green and come prepared for a fun and exciting family event! A wide variety of local businesses and organizations will be represented in the parade, so come and check it out! Featuring decorative floats, treats and more, you won't want to miss out.
Bring the whole family out and get into the St. Patrick's Day spirit the Wichita way!
Hopping Gnome Brewing Company - 16th
Appelachean Sky (formerly the route) returns to the Hopping Gnome Brewing Company for St. Patrick's Day again this year! The music starts at 8 p.m. and there's no cover charge, so come out, grab and celebrate at the Gnome! Irish red beer will be on tap, so it's a great opportunity to embrace the St. Patrick's Day spirit! Be sure to enjoy this gorgeous weather we're having on their new patio!
St. Paddy's Day Parade Pit Stop - 16th
Xclusive Booze Truck will be hosting their St. Paddy's Day Parade Pit stop. Enjoy food from the flying stove and drinks from the Tin Shaker and Xclusive Booze Truck. They'll have yard games to play and DJ E performing on his signature scissor lift DJ booth! Located at 810 W Douglas, across the street from the Delano clock tower.
Merle's Place - 16th
Celebrate St Patrick's day in one of the oldest bars in Wichita! They'll be offering the traditional corned beef and cabbage as well as Rubens, ice cold Killian's Irish Red on tap, and many more Irish traditions!
Pourhouse ICT - 16th
Needing a sweeter start to your St. Patricks day? Check out Pourhouse ICT where they'll be serving up Green mini-doughnuts from Dapper Doughnuts alongside their Walnut River Brewing Coffee Porter.
Wave - 16th
Wave's first St. Patrick's day party! They'll have music from Mike Love, The Terry Henry Band, and Sunshine Trucking! Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show. There are $150 VIP tickets available that get you a hotel room, two concert tickets, a limo ride to the show, early entry, and dinner.
Third Plcace Brewing - 16th
Stop by Third Place for some freshly made tacos and a delicious beer. Personal Chef Roberto Simons will be serving up tasty Brisket tacos w/cilantro slaw & guacamole sauce, Chicken tacos w/corn salsa, and a vegetarian taco option.
Shamrock Lounge - 16th & 17th
The shamrock will be celebrating all weekend long with both Fake-Patty's & St. Patty's Day celebrations.
On the 16th The Shamrock will open at 11 for some pre-parade libations. Be sure to check out the Delano St Patricks Day parade at noon. After the parade has ended, Shamrock Lounge will offer their famous corned beef & cabbage dinner. There will be Irish music and live bagpipers during the day, as well as a live performance at 9 p.m!
On the 17th you can enjoy more of their corned beef and cabbage starting at noon. live music starts at 4 pm with bagpipers arriving at 7 pm.

Public at the Brickyard 16th & 17th
Start your St. Patrick's Day celebrations off right with brunch at Public! They'll have Irish beer pairings and corned beef hash on both Saturday & Sunday! Plus, it's opening weekend for the Brickyard! Brunch runs from 10 am to 11 pm.
Saturday evening is the 20th Season opening of Brickyard! Their outside bar will open at noon on Saturday & Sunday. Monterey Jack, Wichita's favorite cheesy cover band, takes the stage at 8 pm (weather permitting).
Central Standard Brewing - 17th
Get ready for some Sweet Willy's corned beef and cabbage, a surprise bagpiper, and Appalachian Sky. Wichita's newest fiddle explosion, Appalachian Sky has spent the last several months blowing the roof off of The Artichoke, The Hopping Gnome, and other venues around the city. The band will make their CSB debut on St. Patrick's Day so come out and see what it's all about. No cover. Music begins around 3 pm.
Mort's - 17th
At Wichita's favorite Martini Bar you can hang out on their "Paddy"-O and enjoy the sweet songs from The Scandalnavians, followed by Sunshine the Bunny! They'll have drink specials, green beer, giveaways, and a wonderful time will be had by all!
Artichoke - 17th
The Artichoke will feature authentic Irish and Scottish music by Knocknasheega. Get ready for an afternoon of FULL TILT PADDY! Wear your Green if your Irish, your Blue if you're Scottish. Extra style points awarded to the kilted among us! Debates about the origin of Pádraig (St. Patrick) always go better of a pint or two of Guinness.
Emerson Biggins/Rock Island Live - 17th
Stop by Emerson Biggins for their St. Patty's Sunday Funday. They'll be serving up Cornbeef & Cabbage, Guinness Stew and of course the obligatory green beer! They'll also have DJ Bearfoot performing, bagpipers, and drink specials all day long.
