Palette to Palate by KETCH

If you’re not familiar with KETCH, it’s a nationally recognized rehabilitation service that serves individuals with disabilities at home, at work and in the community.
KETCH stands for the Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped Inc. KETCH started out as a small vocational training center and has evolved into the wonderful organization it is today.
KETCH aims to help make the lives of the handicapped as normal as possible by providing them opportunities to succeed in all different aspects of their lives. Programs and services range from the everyday in-home activities to life skills and working. Their program really does a great job getting people with disabilities into mainstream community life.
The mission at KETCH is “To promote independence for persons with disabilities through innovative learning experiences that support individuals’ choices for working, living and play in their community.”
If you are interested in supporting KETCH, there is a fundraiser going on tonight that you won’t want to miss! “Palette to Palate” is a food & wine tasting and a silent and live art and wine auction. This event will start at 7:00pm at the Wichita Marriott Hotel East.
Food will be provided by Wichita’s finest restaurants, caterers and sweet shops. The Art Auction features local artists and will be juried by Dr. Patricia McDonnell, executive Director of the Wichita Art Museum.
