This weekend, June 11th & 12th, check out the 3rd Annual Smallville Comic-Con! It’s back again at the historic Kansas State Fairground and has even expanded due to demand. With the Meadowlark, Sunflower South, and Sunflower North buildings full of your favorite con vendors, guests, gaming, events and friends you’ll be sure to get your fill!

Special Guests

This year’s event includes guests such as:

Marv Wolfman - First starting with Marvel, he would eventually move to DC Comics and is responsible for creating numerous characters such as Blade, Black Cat, Bullseye, The Spider-Woman series, Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven. As a writer/creator, he is one of the most prolific individuals in the comic book realm.

Helen Slater - Known for Supergirl, The Secret of My Success, Ruthless People, and Smallville. Helen Slater's career has encompassed motion pictures, television, music and theatre. Upon graduating from the famed High School of Performing Arts, her debut film performance, opposite Faye Dunaway and Peter O'Toole in "Supergirl" won praise from even the most cynical of critics and launched her performing career. She is currently in "Seeing Other People," opposite Jay Mohr, Andy Richter and Josh Charles, has appeared this season on "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" and plays Eliza Danvers on the new "Supergirl" on CBS .

Mark Winters - Mark is an Art Director and Artist for Wizards of the Coast's Magic the Gathering, where he creates and directs artwork for the wildly successful card game. Originally starting as a freelance artist, he has joined Wizards of the Coast R&D to mold Magic's groundbreaking visuals.

If it’s gaming you’re looking for, be sure to join in for the Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Mortal Combat X and Magic the Gathering tournaments happening all weekend.
