Family Friendly St. Pattys Day Celebrations
St. Patty’s day is near. A time of celebration and cheer! So dust of your leprechaun hat and head out for a day of bar alternative festivities. Don’t forget to wear green or you may just be pinched.
All events listed take place on Saturday, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrick's 5K

The 9th annual Wichita St. Patrick’s 5K race starts bright and early at the Old Cowtown Museum!
Join in the fun and run or go and support the runners. Either way, there will be plenty to see as you watch them as they run or walk in costume. Proceeds benefit Midian Shrine Center.

Irish Fest 2018

Pancakes and bagpipes start of this event at the Brick and Mortar. Knocknasheega will be performing with Corey Academy of Irish Dance at 8 and 10 a.m.
Wear green and your kilt as you will want to dance along to the Caledonian Pipes and Drums in between shows. Proceeds from the pancake feed to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

Delano St. Patty’s Day Parade

Kick off the day at the 12th annual Delano St. Patrick’s Day parade! With 12 sponsors to mark the 12th year, this one promises to be one of the best ever! The parade starts at noon and you will want to get there early to stake out your spot.
The parade route will run down Douglas from McLean to Walnut St.

St. Patrick’s Day Block Party

CourtSide on Commerce will have its first ever block party, March 15-17 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. They offer a safe party environment with open container drinking.
You won’t want to miss out on this as free samples of Corona Premier will be offered as well as an event tent where you can watch all the basketball games! While you are at the block party you can enjoy food and drink trucks, live DJ, and a vendor market. They offer a little something for everyone. This is a kid and dog-friendly event, too!

Jack Korbel’s St Patrick’s Day Concert

As part of Eighth Day Institute’s annual Feast of St. Patrick, the Jack Korbel Confluence will perform at The Ladder on Douglas.
The band will consist of Derek Hale (bass), Rob Loren (fiddle and mandolin), and Randy Zellers (guitars).

The Arcade Turns Green For St. Patty’s Day

Welcome to the jungle as all lights turn green in celebration of St Patrick’s Day! Join in the fun as they are having a Jungle Hunt competition.
First prize is a $50 gift card to The Arcade (1 for adults and 1 for children 10 and under).
You can also enjoy their green special, which is a Mountain Dew and Sour Skittles combo (all green and normally $3) for only $2!
