Cinco de Mayo (may 5th) is this Saturday and it's time to celebrate! Several Wichita businesses are ready to party with events, drink and food specials, concerts, and more!
A few venues are celebrating early and late so double check the date of the party you're wanting to attend!
Of course, aside from party, you're pretty much obligated to eat Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo. Check out our Mexican Restaurant category for some great places to eat!
Muse Meridian - Friday, May 4th
Muse Meridian is hosting a Grand Opening Fiesta/Open House Tour. This Friday after work event is for all ages; beverages by Xclusive Events and food by Smokin Diner will be available. Entertainment includes games to play and live dance performances as well as tours of the facility. Muse Meridian is a community for local shops, businesses, wellness, mindfulness, fitness, and arts. They host art expositions as well as outdoor and indoor markets and fairs. They are co-working, co-creating, co-playing, co-training together under one roof.

Playa Azul - Friday May 4th
Enjoy a live music by Reyna Avelar as well as resident DJ CEZ spinning Salsa, Bachata, Reggaeton, Merengue, Cumbia, Latin Trap and more. They will have drink specials running all night. Free to enter, must be 21+.

2018 Arkansas River Trash Roundup
Join 900 of your closest friends to help clean up the Arkansas River f9 am 9am to noon on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Check-in starts at 8:30. When you pick up river trash you protect water quality, animals that call the river "home," Wichita's image, and all the communities downstream - from Derby to the Gulf of Mexico.
Registration is at 8:30 am at 151 N. Waco. There you can pick up trash bags and gloves. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Sunscreen, a hat and bug spray are a good idea too. After you fill a few bags, enjoy a post-cleanup cookout with the City of Wichita, Cargill, and Ducks Unlimited back at check-in.

Hopping Gnome Brewing Company and Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria are teaming up to bring you a unique Cinco de Mayo celebration. Start off the evening at hopping gnome with a special tapping of their Chile Lime Firkin at 5 pm! Piatto will be making up a special taco pizza, they open at 5 pm and even deliver next door to the hopping gnome!

Inside Wichita Furniture will be serving great deals on furniture such as select room groups with their 5 for $595 deal.
River City Brewing - May 5th
River City Brewing (RCB) is tapping their Tequila Barrel Aged Lime Gose brewed with sea salt and lactose. Described as tart and refreshing with brightness from copious amounts of fresh lime zest and a nice salty finish. they'll have Mexican food specials including a flight of salsas. At 8:00 pm Swing Latino takes the stage in Loft 150.

Emmerson Biggins is hosting their Cinco de Mayo party on May 5th. They have drink specials running all day such as $5.99 Dos Tacos+Dos XX, $3 Biggins-Ritas, $3 16oz Corona, Modelo, and Dos XX, or their Mexican Platter for $19.99. Live DJ, DJ Metiche' performing.

Grace Hill Winery hosts their second annual Cinco De Mayo Party!Live Music from local duo Moddelmog+Hardin starts at 6 PM. Uno Mas Food Truck will be joining them fill your belly with their exquisite Mexican cuisine. Uno Mas will be serving a special Cinco De Mayo menu.
They will have the bar set up serving Grace Hill Wines, our famous Sangria, and for all the non-wine drinkers out there, they will be serving beer as well!
Admission is $10 per carload and is payable at the door. The $10 per carload cover does not include any food or drinks. Seating may be limited so pack an extra lawn chair as well.

Augustino Brewing - May 5th
Cinco de Mayo is special at Agustino Brewing as it's also one of their owner's (Agustine Iacopelli) 40th birthday!
Festivities start at 3 pm for free birthday cake while it lasts. They will have a cornhole tournament 4:30pm-8pm to benefit ICT S.O.S.. $20/2-person team. All players drink $2 pub beers and $3 Signature beers throughout the tournament as our way of saying thanks for helping out a good cause. Sign up online through Eventbrite here
