Cash Mob to Help Douglas Design District Businesses

What is the DDD Cash Mob?
A cash mob is a large group of people who meet up at local businesses to spend money and make purchases. The purpose of these are to support local businesses and the overall community. This Saturday’s “Cash Mob for the Douglas Design District” was designed to help the local businesses alongside Douglas Avenue to recover and thrive.
Why Does the Douglas Design District URGENTLY Need Your Help?
Traffic cones and road construction are a necessary evil. They’re a good thing for the city, as it means Wichita is growing!
What they aren’t so good for sometimes is business. If customers can’t park or access a place of business then they choose to stay away. This can ultimately lead to a huge decline in revenue.
This just happened to the businesses located at Hydraulic and Douglas during the last three months. The recent overhaul of that intersection left many businesses without any direct parking and meant the March Madness traffic just passed by the block. Combined with the erratic weather of spring, this has left several businesses on the edge of survival. The City of Wichita fixed the streets and now the people of Wichita can help fix the businesses.
360Wichita.com is partnering with the Douglas Design District to bring people to the area this Saturday, April 21st.
Wichita NEEDS this incredible area to grow and thrive. Please help to #shoplocal and support these great local businesses by bringing your friends, family and CASH down to the Douglas Design District to #buylocal.
360Wichita.com has mapped out the perfect Saturday filled in with fun specials so you can enjoy this growing part of our city -- RAIN OR SHINE!
