Bradley Fair Autumn and Art Event Preview
Autumn and Art is Bradley Fair’s outdoor fine arts show and sale, held this year on Sept. 18-20. Stop by this weekend for a fun (and free) opportunity to view and purchase artwork from over 100 artists from across the country. Works in eleven types of artistic media will be available, including jewellery, painting, glass, fiber, ceramics, photography and more. The event features many activities, such as wine and art tasting, whiskey sampling and cigar bar, live music, theatre and dance demonstrations, Celestial Caravan photo booth and more. Kids can play art themed games, and even create their own works of art under the direction of arts educators from Wichita Center for the Arts and Artie’s Clubhouse, a gallery for youth. Wine, beer and soft drinks will be available at three cash bars along the Parkway, and Bradley Fair’s restaurants such as Jason’s Deli, Outback Steakhouse and Il Vicino will be represented by booths in the Culinary Pavilion.
Opening Night Patron Party
For patrons of Autumn and Art, an opening-night party will be held, featuring live music, gourmet buffets, specialty wine and spirits, specialty coffee bar and a silent auction. The Patron Part’s silent auction boasts tickets to concerts by the Foo Fighters and Asleep at the Wheel, two premium center court seats to a 2015 WSU Men's Basketball home game, Kansas City Chiefs tickets and passes to some of the area’s most popular galas, and more. Reserved parking and complimentary beverages are also available to patrons.
