March is National Craft Month, and this is a quick and easy way to celebrate! The only things you need are a pair of white canvas tennis shoes, a pencil, and a black fabric marker. If you’ve got a pair of shoes that need an upgrade, this is a quick and easy way to make them look just like new! We chose to imitate a classic wingtip shoe style, but the options for this are really unlimited. Choose any design or pattern you like, and feel free to use whatever colors suit your taste!

Step 1: remove the laces from your shoes. This will make the tongue and top of your shoe more accessible.

Step 2: trace out your design lightly in pencil so that you can erase any mistakes.

Step 3: When you are happy with your design, use your fabric markers to color to your heart’s content.
