2022 Wichita Area Haunted Houses

Venture into the Field of Screams—a terrifying trip through towering fields, twisting trenches and sadistic workshops. If you dare, you can enter the even darker Clown Town, filled with dizzying 3D effects, disorienting mazes and creepy clowns.

This haunted attraction also features two mini escape room experiences: Jeb's Shack and The Seance Room. Can you make it out in only 15 minutes?

Field of Screams is not recommended for children under 8 years old.

Open: September 23–October 31 (See website for exact dates.)

Hours: Gates open at 7 p.m.; Field of Screams and Escape Rooms open at dark. You choose and commit to an arrival time when purchasing a ticket. Escape Rooms run every 15 minutes.

Tickets are limited and must be purchased online in advance. Group discounts are available.

Escape Room tickets are sold onsite on a first-come, first-served basis. Escape Room pricing: $30 for groups of 1–3 and $40 for groups of 4–6 people.

Take a harrowing hay wagon ride through the corn and pumpkin fields to an old 4-story canning elevator where a world of terror awaits. The Haunted Cannery is a nightmare brought to life with clowns, chainsaws, zombies, spiders, werewolves, an asylum maze, big slide and more. Upgrade your ticket to a RIP FAST PASS to take the "Hell Bound" Ambulance to the Cannery, plus a ride to the front of the line in the horrifyingly claustrophobic closed casket ride.

You can also purchase a "Scaredy Pants" ticket if you want to be left alone or don't want a big scare. You'll receive glow-in-the-dark rosary beads to signal the monsters to keep their distance.

This extra-scary haunted attraction is not recommended for children under 12.

Hours: Box office is open 7:30–10:30 p.m. Experience starts at dark.

Can you survive a 30-minute trek through a haunted island? You never know what could be lurking in the woods. This Halloween favorite is presented by Plant Kingdom and the City of Wichita.

Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Open: Fridays & Saturdays in October

Hours: 8 p.m.–Midnight. Ticket sales start at 7:30 p.m. Park gates close at 11:30 p.m.

Must be purchased onsite for that evening only. Wait times vary greatly and increase closer to Halloween.

Online Timed Entry

• Adults: $30
• Children 12 & Under: $25

Must be purchased online. You will select a 1-hour timeframe to attend the haunt. Wait time should be less than 1 hour.

Fast Pass

• All Ages: $40

May be purchased onsite or online. The wait time should be less than 30 minutes.

If you prefer hauntings of the indoor variety, gather your courage and encounter the vengeful spirits trapped within the 13 Sinister Souls Haunted House. You'll navigate through 20 rooms covering 10,000 square feet of hellish horror and gore in this 30-minute experience.

This is an extremely intense experience and not for the faint of heart.
