Want to know where to see some of the best Christmas lights in Wichita in 2022? We've updated our list and checked it twice.

Many of the Christmas light displays in Wichita raise money for charitable causes, so you can help spread holiday cheer while enjoying the show.

When light-looking in neighborhoods, please be considerate by not blocking driveways, littering or playing loud music. Happy neighbors mean our favorite holiday light displays can keep running year after year.


Ticketed Lighting Displays


Illuminations at Botanica

Unplugged at Illuminations

Open: Nov. 18–Dec. 31

Hours: 5:30–8:30 p.m. (must pre-reserve time slot)

Admission: $13 for adult non-members; $9 for members and kids. Ages 2 and under free.

Location: 701 Amidon St, Wichita, KS 67203

A beloved Wichita tradition, Illuminations at Botanica transforms the gardens into a winter wonderland of millions of lights. Get some hot cocoa and walk through spectacular lighting displays. It's a truly memorable and magical experience. Kids can visit with Santa through Dec. 23.

To help with crowd control at this popular event, tickets must be pre-purchased online for reserved time slots.


Lights at AbilityPoint (formerly The Arc/Lights on St. Paul)

Admission: Free will donation on Mondays; all other nights $10 per carload

Location: W Douglas Ave & N St. Paul St, Wichita, KS 67213

Drive through a Tunnel of Lights and into a magical landscape featuring 1.5 million twinkling lights. This Wichita holiday tradition will feature some new surprises this year as well as long-time favorites.

Proceeds provide year-round educational and social opportunities for people of all ages living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Lights is Ability Point's biggest fundraiser of the year.

You can purchase tickets onsite or ahead of time online or at local Quick Trips.


West Wichita Lighting Displays


Candy Cane Lane

Every holiday season, the Deer Glen neighborhood transforms into the magical Candy Cane Lane! Located near 119th and Central in West Wichita, this drive-through lighting display features over a dozen homes all dressed in their glittering best.

Weekends can get quite busy, so prepare for a wait or visit on a weeknight.

Some nights feature fundraising for specific charities. Follow Candy Cane Lane's Facebook page for details. They also love for you to share photos and memories.


Reindeer Road

Giant reindeer cut-outs decorate many a yard in this delightful neighborhood Christmas display, located one block west of Candy Cane Lane.


Carols on the Court

Christmas lights go high-tech at Carols on the Court!

Instead of traditional lights, the displays use more than 8,000 RGB pixels that can be individually controlled to change the color and brightness. Request a song on the Carols on the Court website, tune into 89.5 FM, and a special software will sequence the lights to the music. It's light-looking and an interactive STEM lesson for kids in one! Winner of the 2018 Kansas Christmas Light Fight! This dazzling display features more than 80,000 computerized lights set to music on 100.7 FM. A favorite since 2012, it has new attractions every year to keep the "ooohs" and "aaahs" coming. Their Facebook page has updates along with tips on how to create your own lighting displays.


Lights on David Street

These holiday-loving homeowners put on an interactive musical light show for Halloween and Christmas! Tune your radio to 106.9 FM. Each year features returning favorites and new displays, songs and props. Visit the Lights on David Street website for directions and schedule.

A Christmas light display as big as Texas! OK, that's a slight exaggeration, but there are still thousands of lights to enjoy as you listen to Christmas tunes on 95.7 FM. Donations are accepted for charitable causes; past recipients have included the Kansas Humane Society.

Lights on Brummett Street

These homeowners love holiday lights so much, they put them up for Halloween and Christmas! Tune into 104.1 for a musical light show that is sure to bring a smile to your face. Follow the Lights on Brummett Street Facebook page for news and updates.


9th Street Lights

9th Street Lights

See more than 35,000 lights "dance" to your favorite classic holiday songs with this computerized light show. Tune into 101.7 FM to hear the music synced to the lights.

The show will not run in wet weather.


Lights on Gold Street

A favorite since 2009, this residential display features 13,000 lights set to music. Tune into 99.5 FM. You can follow their Facebook page for updates, and visit their website for photos, videos and even some fun behind-the-scenes footage.

Tune into 89.7 FM and bask in the glow of over 100,000 lights. You can join the McKinneys in making the season bright by donating; they split the donations between local charities. East Wichita Lighting Displays

College Hill Christmas Lights

The College Hill neighborhood puts on its holiday best every year, with many of the charming and stately homes decked out in lights and decorations. College Hill is bordered by Hillside to the west, Oliver to the east, Central to the north and Kellogg to the south.

Titus Family Christmas Lights

See over 70,000 lights set to music and hear Rudolph talk! This impressive display is a labor of love for the Titus family, who has been creating holiday memories for over 10 years. The show changes nightly; tune into 104.1 FM to hear the music.


Marshall Family Christmas Lights

The Marshall Family Christmas

Location: 620 N Stratford Ln, Wichita, KS 67206

The Marshalls certainly know how to deck the halls! Their display features more than 100,000 lights synchronized to music you can hear on 91.7 FM. Donations go to support local charities. Past recipients include the Lord's Diner and St. Anthony Family Shelter.

This light show runs longer than most, extending past the first of the year to Epiphany (Three Kings' Day).
