Dinosaurs Invade Kansas This Weekend
Kansas is about to go 90 Million years back in time. Opening this weekend the new Field Station: Dinosaurs brings life-sized dinosaurs to Derby, Kansas.
"It's a lot like going to the zoo, but instead of animals, you have life-sized, living, breathing, roaring animatronic dinosaurs,” Guy Gsell, expedition commander at Field Station Dinosaurs.
The park will include features such as 40 Life-size animatronic dinosaurs, over 30 informative and interactive live shows, workshops, games, a challenge dome, and even a “Jurassic Golf” mini-golf course.
The goal is to be informative and entertaining for all ages. This world-class family attraction that combines cutting-edge science with the creative minds of great artists to create a one-of-kind experience that's thrilling, educational and fun.
Park admission is targeted to still be family friendly, with a full days admission costing only a bit more than your standard movie ticket.
