Field of Screams
Claim to fame: Clowns, haunted fields, and zombie hunting.
Address: 4055 N Tyler Rd, Maize, KS 67101 (At Prairie Pines)
Hours: Gates open at 7:00 pm every day. Last tickets sold at 11:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 18 – Oct. 31, and at 10:30 pm October 11, 18, 25, and 29
Cost: $20 for Field of Screams and Clown Town on Fridays and Saturdays, $15 Sunday – Thursday, additional charge for Zombie Hunt Paintball; combo passes and Fast Passes are available. Tickets can be purchased online.
Forest of Fear
Claim to fame: Documented hauntings.
Address: 7446 51st Rd, Udall, KS 67149
Hours: Dark to midnight every Friday and Saturday from September 25 through Halloween; Dark to 11:00 pm on October 11, 18, 22, 25, and 29
Cost: Adults $15.00, ages 10 and under are $10.00, coupon on Website, group pricing available; FastPass is $25 (adults) or $15 (10 and under)
Wicked Woods Well of Souls
Claim to fame: Creepy, shadowy scares.
Address: 3640 S. Topeka St, Wichita, KS 67216
Hours: 8:00 pm – midnight every Friday and Saturday in October
Cost: $13 for adults, $8 for ages 12 and under (must be accompanied by an adult)
The Haunted Cannery, Lunatic Asylum and Haunted Hayride
Claim to fame: Inside an old grain elevator. Not recommended for children under 12.
Address: 10001 NW US HWY 77, El Dorado, KS 66840 (Walter’s Pumpkin Patch)
Hours: 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm October 3, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31
Cost: $20 for all 3 events (Haunted Cannery, Lunatic Asylum, Haunted Hayride), $25 for all 3 events plus flashlight corn maze, or $35 for all 3 events plus Casket Ride, flashlight corn maze and jump to the front of the line.
