About Us
Heartspring has been helping children with special needs on their path to a more independent life since 1934.
Heartspring Pediatric Services employs physical, occupational and speech therapists, audiologists, as well as licensed psychologists, committed to providing specialized therapies and services to children with developmental disabilities. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, we administer a comprehensive evaluation to determine the most effective therapy for each child.
In addition, the Heartspring School enables children with multiple disabilities, including autism, a chance to grow and learn through individualized programs in a residential and day school environment. Children ages 5-21 come to Wichita from across the United States and around the world for education and therapies in a school where every child matters and is given a chance.
The vision of the Heartspring CARE Program is to meet the unique needs of families by providing resources and services within a community of collaboration centered on autism spectrum disorders. Initiatives including SSTAR Scouts, Camp SSTAR and the CARE Gardens provide children with autism with social and communication skills that will enhcance their future opportunities, helping them to become as independent as possible.
