Advance $15 - Day of Show $20

MY POSSE IN EFFECT - BEASTIE BOYS TRIBUTE
This is the premier Beastie Boys tribute act hands down. Taking you through decades of their unforgettable hits, this seven piece live band replicates the authentic Beastie Boys experience with three MCs, a world class DJ, and visuals from their iconic video collection.

The crowds get to re-live carefree times and always sing along, word for word, in a party atmosphere. Fans of My Posse in Effect are dedicated and cross multiple state lines just to see them perform and with good reason.

Its safe to say that My Posse in Effect forgoes the clone treatment found in other cover bands to deliver a hard-hitting set thats backed by the rip of live instruments. DJ Mahf helps weave drums, guitars and a stage full of voices into a pitch-perfect presentation that does for the Beastie Boys what El Monstero does for Pink Floyd. Riverfront Times (link)

Most exciting, though, is a performance by My Posse in Effect, a St. Louis-based Beastie Boys tribute act. The sad fact is that youre never going to get a chance to see the actual Beastie Boys again at least not with longtime leader MCA, who passed away due to cancer in 2012. A tribute act is the best you are going to get, and this is one that can more than ably do the job. Riverfront Times (link)

Multi-Grammy Award winning blues icon Buddy Guy and renowned blues rock guitarist/songwriter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd will be hitting the road together again in August, 2019.
The tour will begin on August 22nd with shows in Milwaukee, Louisville, Wichita, Ralston, Mankato, and Cedar Rapids. Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd will
both be playing full sets at each performance. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 17th and will be available at both www.KennyWayneShepherd.com and www.BuddyGuy.net.
The title of Buddy Guys latest album says it all: The Blues Is Alive and Well. The legendary blues artist's eighteenth solo LP and follow-up to 2015's Born to Play
Guitar showcases his raw and unadulterated sound, its fifteen tracks a true pleasure for aficionados and genre newcomers alike. Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicagos fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the citys halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 7 GRAMMY Awards, a Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, 37 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has
received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. At 82 years young, Guy proves that it gets greater later as he continues to record and tour around the world.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd is over two decades into a recording career that began when he was just 16 and the Louisiana native has covered a lot of ground in that time. His new album The Traveler (due to release on May 31st), is a consistently compelling manifestation of Shepherd's multiple talents. Both a world-class guitarist with deep roots in the blues, and a singularly charismatic songwriter and performer, Shepherd has built an incredibly accomplished resume that reflects his lifelong love for the blues. He has sold millions of albums worldwide and, in addition to his five Grammy nominations, he has won two Billboard Music Awards, a pair of Orville H. Gibson awards, the Blues Foundations Keeping The Blues Alive award and two Blues Music awards. Hes had eight #1 blues albums and a string of #1 mainstream rock singles. His last release, Lay It On Down, debuted at # 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts and remained there for 8 consecutive weeks.
