The Fall I Session was originally scheduled to have a skipped class week of Tuesday 10/15 and Saturday 10/19 and the session would have concluded on Tuesday 10/22 and Saturday 10/26. Class will no longer be skipped the week of 10/15 and 10/19. That will also be the final week of the Fall I Session. Please disregard any previous information you may have received regarding this session's dates. The session's full updated dates can be found below.
Our Spooktacular Basic Skills Competition was also originally scheduled to be on October 26th and has been moved up to October 19th.

Our Learn to Skate classes are taught by experts utilizing the Learn To Skate USA Basic Skills curriculum. The Basic Skills program is designed by Learn To Skate USA in cooperation with U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, and US Speed Skating to be the best beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding. Skaters will learn the fundamentals of figure skating, speed skating and/or hockey skating. It's simply the best way to take to the ice!

Summer II Session 2019:
*There are no classes scheduled the week of 8/6 and 8/10 during the Summer II session due to our annual figure skating club competition. Feel free to bring your skaters to watch the events as this competition will feature skaters of all levels and ages!*
**There are no classes scheduled the week of 8/27 and 8/31 during the Summer II session due to the Labor Day holiday weekend.**
Fall I Session 2019 (September 10th through October 26th, 2019)

Fall II Session 2019 (October 29th through December 14th, 2019)

Our annual Christmas Recital is tentatively scheduled for December 14th and December 15th, 2019! More information regarding this festive annual performance will be available soon!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning with the Winter I 2020 session registration, we will be introducing new class pricing:
Annual Learn to Skate USA Membership Requirement: We are a registered program with Learn to Skate USA and follow their curriculum. Due to this, we require that each skater registered for learn to skate (parents too, if registered for Parent and Tot classes) are current members of Learn to Skate USA. Beginning with Summer II 2019 registration, we will require that all skaters and parents register themselves through LearnToSkateUSA.com and bring proof of membership (i.e. certificate or receipt of membership purchase) in order to take the ice for classes. If you have been taking learn to skate classes with us prior to Summer II 2019, please contact mchambers@genesishealthclubs.com to obtain your Learn to Skate USA member number in order to renew your membership for the 2019-2020 figure skating season that runs from July 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2020.

Family Discount: Receive 10% off regular or early bird class rates for each additional family member from the same household participating in our Learn-TO-Skate programs.
Multi-class discount: Register for two or three classes per week, and receive the 2nd and/or 3rd weekly class at 50% off our regular rate!
Military Discount: Military families will receive 10% off any regular rate Learn-To-Skate class, military ID required.

Skates and gloves may be purchased the Wichita Ice Center Pro Shop. Rink temperature averages 45°to 60° year round.

Looking to enhance your learning experience? Sign up to schedule private lessons with one of our expert coaches. These introductory private lessons are offered at a discount off our regular prices, and are a great way to help your skater focus and work on skills that are more difficult to achieve and enhances the skills the already know. It also gives the skater a more structured, yet fun, additional practice time.
Packages of 3 and 6 half-hour lessons are available. Cost is $70 for three private lessons, and $135 for six private lessons, and each lesson includes one hour of skating academy freestyle ice time.
