Symphony in the Flint Hills announced Butler County's Rosalia Ranch as the location of its 2018 signature event and revealed the annual themes for the next four years.
"We are really excited to be returning to Rosalia Ranch", Executive Director Christy Davis said. "Rosalia Ranch is one of the most beautiful sites we have been to. The landowners are wonderful, and it's a favorite of both our organization and our audience."
The theme for eht 2018 symphony is water, and Davis said the organization will be exploring the natural, cultural and structural elements of water in the Flint Hills region throughout the year. Symphony in the Flint Hills' headquarters in Cottonwood Falls was chosen by the Kansas Humanities Council as a host site for the Smithsonian's traveling "WaterWays" exhibit, which focused on the connections between people and the water around the world.
