About the Skatepark
The Wichita Skatepark (about 12,045 square feet of pure concrete) features two distinctly different areas. The "Bowls Area" consisting of three concrete bowls and the "Urban Landscape" area, featuring an assortment of street style elements. The entire skateboard park is a 100% skateable landscape.
Concrete Bowls
- 9-1/2 foot bowl (one of the deepest in the Midwest)

The Urban Landscape

With unique features such as, its location under the Kellogg overpass; all-concrete construction; professional design by Wally Hollyday and California Skateparks; and urban landscape; the skateboard park is described as a destination park by many of the local skateboarders. Additional features include: shaded parking lot and picnic tables.
The skateboard park is free and open to the public between dawn and dusk. Pads and helmet are not required, but strongly recommended.
