The Wichita Symphony presents their annual gift to the community, the Spirit of the Season Free Family Holiday Concert sponsored by Spirit AeroSystems. A treasured Wichita tradition, this one-hour concert features beloved carols and holiday hits.

Tickets are available to reserve starting in November. Canned food donations for the Kansas Food Bank will be accepted, and cash donations will be accepted for the Wichita Symphony's education programs.

Music Theatre for Young People (MTYP) presents Bethlehem, Kansas - a musical story of people who find love and peace in the miracle that is Christmas.

A Christmas Eve blizzard in western Kansas strands travelers at the Bethlehem Motel. The group includes four members of the Topeka Stargazers Club in search of a special star, four cowboys caught tending their herd and a busload of not-so-angelic kids from the Oak City Church Children’s Choir.

Just as the guests pitch in to help proprietors Jack and Rachel make do with the limited rooms and provisions Joe and Mary arrive, and Mary is about to have a baby...

An ALL New Holiday Event for the Season!

Ballet Wichita presents the premiere of a newly choreographed and staged “Nutcracker" Ballet. It is Directed and Choreographed by New York's Sean McLeod.

This special commission came to be under the Guest Artistic Leadership of the legendary ballerina of Dance Theatre of Harem fame, Karen Brown. Ms. Brown, (Guest Artistic Director) created an opportunity with Ballet Wichita that brought Sean McLeod's new Nutcracker Ballet to the Mid West this Holiday Season.

The newly re-imaged ballet story is based on the 1816 book by E.T. A Hoffman, a Harry Potter like tale. McLeod's adaptation honors one of the great ballet classics while finding new colors of movement to Tchaikovsky's incredible music.

This production features the Ballet Wichita Symphony Conducted by Wes DeSpain, Wichita State University's Nick Johnson as Drosselmeyer, Special Guests from Wichita, a cast of over 100 regional dancers, and Guest Artists from New York and across the country on the largest stage in Kansas.

Based on a true story and the film of the same name, Kinky Boots tells the tale of young Brit Charlie Price, who must find a way to save his family's struggling shoe factory after the unexpected death of his father.

Enter Lola, a fabulous drag queen, who gives Charlie the idea to create ladies’ shoes for men. Soon, the factory is turning out “kinky boots”, but can this scheme actually work? And can these two extremely different men find a common ground and become real friends?

This inspirational show is about accepting yourself and accepting other people for who they are, as well as the importance of kindness, understanding, and friendship.

Theater League brings this smash hit musical to Wichita for three performances.
