The two West Street to Kellogg entrances scheduled to close this week have been left open as portions of the project have been delayed, according to Kansas Department of Transportation.
The ramps, part of the I-235/Kellogg interchange project, where scheduled to close on the 7th, but have been pushed back tentatively to the middle of December. The precise date has yet to be set according to Tom Hein of the KDOT.
In order for the ramps to close, temporary traffic signals must be put in place along West street. Crews will be working on that over the next couple weeks. Once the ramps are closed, they are set to be closed for approximately the next six months.
