Two sensory sensitive movie screenings will be held at the 21st Street Warren Theatre at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, Doors open at 11 a.m. for sensory sensitive screenings of “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” and “Norm of the North.”
“The Force Awakens” follows two new characters, Rae and Finn, as they try to stop the First Order. Animated film “Norm of the North” is about a polar bear and his friends who end up in New York.
These types of screenings allow families affected by autism or other disabilities to enjoy current films in a less intense environment, which features a softer volume and brighter house lights. Additionally, guests are able to sing, dance and talk during the film. Tickets are offered at regular prices. Tickets on sale now, but are only available for purchase in Wichita at the 21st Street Warren.
