The interchange at Kellogg and Webb Road will soon implement left-turn restrictions, according to City of Wichita officials. The restriction, announced on Monday, will protect motorists as well as the construction crews working to advance the freeway project.
Left turns will be restricted for drivers traveling west on Kellogg and both north and south on Webb Road beginning on March 26, weather permitting.
Motorists traveling east on Kellogg will continue to be able to turn left until otherwise noted, and proper notification will be provided prior to such restrictions.
Additionally, nighttime construction will reduce Kellogg to one lane in each direction between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. during the week of March 28 through April 1. Beginning on March 25, the speed limits will be reduced to 40 mph on Kellogg and 30 mph on Webb Road throughout the construction zone. The speed-zone reductions will remain reduced until completion of the project.
