The Old Town Association and KMUW present the second annual free concert series in Old Town Square. The series will last for three weeks. The series will be kicking off this weekend, immediately following the Wagonmasters’ Downtown Chili Cookoff on September 24.
Guests will be able to enjoy jazz music from Michael Engdahl’s Odisea, followed by the Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band.
The second concert will take place on Oct. 1 and will feature local groups Kill Vargas and Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy.
The series will conclude with a performance by Miss Tess & The Talkbacks, joined by dust bowl rock ’n roll of the Tom Page Trio on October 8.
All of the shows will be held in Old Town Square, and will begin at 7 p.m. They are free and open to the public to attend. Barleycorns will host afterparties following each of the concerts.
