The West Street to Kellogg on-ramps are now closed as part of a new construction project that is expected to take six months. The ramps are expected to open again upon completion of the project, which is currently slated for mid-summer. In the meantime, drivers can take either of two available detours. The first utilizes Maple and Edwards, and the other will use Harry and Southwest.
The Kansas Department of Transportation had originally scheduled the project to begin in December, but the project was delayed.
These closures are part of a larger project to improve the Kellogg and I-235 interchange. This project is set to be completed sometime during the summer of 2019.
