The Kansas State Fair has added a few more big-name artists to its 2016 grandstand lineup. In a Tuesday press release from the Kansas State Fair, performances by Andy Grammer and Rachel Platten, Hairball and Crowder were confirmed.
These artiste will join the Fair’s existing lineup, which includes Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jake Owen, Restless heart and more.
Andy Grammer, known for hits like “Fine By Me,” “Keep Your Head Up” and “Honey, I’m Good,” will perform on Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Grammer will be accompanied br Rachel Platten, who is known for her hit songs “Fight Song” and “Stand By You.” Tickets to see the two perform range in price from $35 to $75.
The Kansas State Fair’s Grandstand lineup encompasses yet another genre, adding Christian artist Crowder to the list. Playing music known as “folktronica,” Crowder is known for songs like “Come As You Are,” “I Am,” and many more. Crowder will perform on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m., and tickets range in price from $20 to $50.
The 80’s rock tribute band Hairball is slated to perform at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. The group is known for performing popular rock hits from groups such as Aerosmith, Journey, Kiss, Motley Crue, Prince and Van Halen. Tickets to Hairball’s performance are priced at $15 and $25.
The Kansas State Fair will announce two more acts early next month.
The fair will run from Sept. 9 through 18, and will be held at the fairgrounds in Hutchinson.
