The 2016 Spring Parade of Homes begins this weekend. This year’s Parade will feature 112 brand new homes ranging in price from $100,000 to more than $1.5 million. The work of the area’s best builders will be on display for three weekends during the event.
Homes featured on the Parade are located in desirable neighborhoods throughout not only Wichita, but also surrounding communities such as Andover, Bel Aire, Derby, El Dorado, Goddard, Kechi, Mulvane, Rose Hill and Valley Center.
Parade homes will be open from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through April 24, and each home will be staffed with a real estate agent to provide listing details and other information on each property.
“We encourage people to come and see what’s new,” said president and CEO of the Wichita Area Builders Association, Wess Galyon. “The customization options available when buying new really can’t be matched.”
The Parade of Homes also offers a magazine that highlights the features of the homes. The Free magazine also offers the full sales listing as well as a description and detailed map for each home. The Parade of Homes Magazine is available at most of the area’s grocery stores, and online at wabahome.com.
The Wichita Area Builders Association has over 1,000 members, including residential and light construction builders, banking industry officials, remodelers, developers, sub-contractors, suppliers and attorneys. WABA hosts three major annual events, including a Spring Parade of Homes, a Fall Parade of Homes and an annual Home Show each February.
