United Airlines will upgrade one of its Chicago flights beginning on April 6.
The flight will be upgraded from a regional jet to a mainline aircraft, a Boeing 737 or Airbus 319/320. Passengers departing at 7:43 a.m. on Wednesday will be effected by the upgrade, as will passengers returning at 9:37 p.m.
This upgrade coincides with the airline’s 90th anniversary, commemorating the beginning of United mail service on April 6, 1926. In celebration of this milestone, United Airlines will be serving cake to its morning passengers.
