Job Description:
Reviews company drawings/documents, complies with requirements, and follows detailed procedures in assembling products.
Builds subassemblies and final assemblies of products. Strips, winds, measures, bends, and cuts parts. Solders components to printed circuit boards and wires.
Operates various hand tools and machine tools (i.e. Mill, Drill Press, Shears, Band Saw, Engraving Equipment, Pneumatic and Manual Presses) while assembling parts. Applies tape and liquid products (i.e. solder mask, RTV, epoxies, conformal coatings, and encapsulants) to company parts.
Operates automated assembly equipment. Inspects and tests parts to ensure compliance to standards and proper operation. Complies with company policies and procedures. Performs on the job training of employees.
Other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Work Experience Requirements:
· Required: Two or more years experience in electronics manufacturing or equivalent
· Required: Experience with mechanical and various measurement tools
Required:
Experience reading schematics and assembly drawings
· Required: Experience through hole/surface mount MIL-STD/J-STD soldering
· Preferred: Experience operating automated surface mount assembly equipment
Preferred: Experience using MS Excel
