Adult Rock Band Class

For Adults age 21 and older interested in revliving playing in a rock band or having heir first rock band experience with other adults. Classes will meet once a week with a live concert performance at the end of the class term.

Classes will meet once a week for one hour. Classes available are Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

World War II Battle Reenactment

Arts ⁄ Exhibits 3:00 am - El Dorado

Location: 383 East Central Ave. in El Dorado, Kansas

A World War II Battle Reenactment will take place at 3:00pm at the Butler County History Center, located at 383 W. Central in El Dorado, sponsored by the World War II History Center. Spectators will witness history in action as American GI’s battle the German Army for control of a small village. Following the action, the public will be able to speak with the reenactors, and will get an opportunity to handle some of the weapons and equipment used in the battle. (Lawn chairs are recommended.)

Admission to the day’s events will be free of charge, but donations will be accepted and appreciated. For more information, log on to the World War II History Center’s website at www.wwiihistorycenter.org or call (316)322-8753.

Fundraiser event for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research, supporting patients, and creating hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
The event includes a 1K kids' fun run and a timed 5K walk/run.

This is our most challenging class. It will combine a series of vinyasa and power yoga asanas (postures) and may incorporate inversions, armbalances and backbends. 12th Annual Veteran’s Day Parade

El Dorado’s Celebration of Freedom Committee will be hosting its 12th annual Veteran’s Day parade downtown which will include military equipment from the WWII era to modern day, reenactors, floats and high school bands. Following the parade, a free hot dog feed will be open to the public at McDonald Stadium. At 12:00pm, military equipment participating in the parade will be on display at the stadium for inspection by the public

2nd Annual World War II History Center Open House
