Craft Beer Week

Craft Beer Week

Local beer is a large part of Wichita’s culture. Home to a variety of locally owned and operated breweries and special events like Midwest Beerfest and the Air Capital Bacon and Beer Festival, Wichita is a perfect place for craft beer enthusiasts.

It’s an exciting time to get involved in Wichita’s craft beer community, as the week of May 16 marks American Craft Beer Week. The whole week is dedicated to celebrating, well, craft beer. What is craft beer? It's pretty simple. Craft beer is beer that is brewed locally by small breweries, and it offers a variety of unique and creative flavors. Craft Beer Week is a time to enjoy and share some of the best drinks around, celebrate the craft beer community, and learn about local brews. Craft Beer Week is also a great opportunity for local breweries to connect with their fans. So what are you waiting for? Get in on the excitement by visiting Wichita’s breweries.
