eSports Convention at the Rhatigan Student Center, Feb. 5-7
Wichita State University's Rhatigan Student Center hosts the second annual Wichita eSports Convention this weekend. Running 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday, you can get your game on and compete with some of Wichita's best gamers. The event will feature games, tournaments, cosplayers, vendors, raffles and lots of fun! The cost to attend the event is $10 per day, or $25 for a three-day pass. View details here.
Thunder Hockey vs. Colorado Eagles, Feb. 5
Join the Wichita Thunder Hockey team on Friday, Feb. 5 as they face off against the Colorado Eagles at Intrust Bank Arena. The game begins at 7 p.m., and ticket prices range from $11 to $34. Tickets are available in person at Select A Seat locations and the Intrust Bank Arena box office, by phone at 316.264.GOAL, or online. Discounted ticket prices are avaailable for seniors, youth and military.

Harlem Globetrotters 2016 World Tour at Intrust Bank Arena, Feb. 6
The Harlem Globetrotters will visit Intrust Bank Arena on Feb. 6 as part of The Great Assist program. In their 90th year, the stars of the team will visit 260 North American Cities there they will play more than 330 games. The program also allows the stars to leave a mark in the communities that they visit with acts of goodwill during the tour. At 7 p.m., you can see the Globetrotters' incredible ball-handling skills, slam dunks, comedy trick shots and more. After the game, stick around for photos and autographs with the Globetrotters!
Craftapalooza and Vintage Market at Century II, Feb. 6
On Saturday, stop by Century II's Craftapalooza and Vintage Market. This one day event offers a unique blend of items that are handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. With with glam and bling booths to antiques and vintage finds, Craftapalooza and Vintage Market has something for everyone. Enjoy fun and funky repurposed items, home decor and inspiration and more. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and admission will cost $5.
Dancing and Romancing at Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Feb. 6
Wichita Train Show and Swap Meet at Cessna, Feb.6
Take one of two guided tours of some of the area's most impressive model railroads. With more than 100 dealer tables, model contests, operating layouts, clinics and more, the event is sure to be a hit! Located in the Cessna Activity Center, the Wichita Train Show and Swap Meet begins on Saturday at 9 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m. On Sunday, the event runs from 11 a..m until 4 p.m Admission will cost $8 both days, and a $1 off discount will be available to those with non-perishable food item. Scouts in uniform get in free.
Kansas vs. Oklahoma Border Battle at Bar2Bar MX Park, Feb. 6-7
The Kansas vs. Oklahoma Border Battle Race comes back to Bar2Bar MX Park on Saturday and Sunday. The thrilling races will have audience members reeling. On Saturday, guests can watch the racers in the practice race as they gear up for the big event.. On Sunday, its time for the real deal. Come out to see the race, cheer for your favorites and have a great time.
