St. Patrick's Day Parade in Delano
As per Wichita tradition, Delano hosts its annual St. Patrick's day parade once again. Beginning at high noon on March 11 at the intersection of Douglas and McLean and running all the way to Douglas and Walnut, the parade is truly a sight to see!
Wear your green and come prepared for a fun and exciting family event! A wide variety of local businesses and organizations will be represented in the parade, so com and check it out! Featuring decorative floats, treats and more, you won't want to miss out.

Wichita’s Blarney Stone offers traditional Irish dishes year-round, but the Irish pub kicks it up a few notches for St. Patty's! Featuring a DJ all day and three bagpipe performances throughout the day, the party continues from morning 'til evening! There will even be two outdoor tents that offer even more festivities! Have a taste of green beer, Guinness or both!
Blarney Stone is a family-friendly pub and sports bar. The menu highlights a unique blend of Irish dishes like shepherds pie, bangers and mash and more mixed with American favorites. With 36 HDTVs, Blarney Stone is a great place to get in on a little March Madness.

Irish folk group, The Route returns to the Hopping Gnome Brewing Company for St. Patrick's Day again this year! The music starts at 8 p.m. and there's no cover charge, so come out, grab and celebrate at the Gnome! Wichita's Shamrock Lounge is ready to start the party. Celebrating a little early, the festivities begin on Mar. 11, the day of the Delano parade!
On Mar. 11, Shamrock opens its doors at 9 a.m. and invites guests in to enjoy a $10 Irish breakfast with a shamrock egg, potatoes O'Brien and more. This will run until the parade begins at noon. After the parade has ended, Shamrock Lounge will offer a $10 beef and Guinness stew from 1-6 p.m. There will be Irish music and live bagpipers during the day, as well as a live performance at 9 p.m.!
Then, on St. Patrick's Day, the celebration begins early again. Come out on the evening on Mar. 16 to watch the countdown to midnight! On Mar. 17, enjoy Celtic music, bagpipers, a corned beef and cabbage dinner and more!
Pipe and Drum Performances
Did you know that Wichita had its very own pipe band? The Wichita Caledonian Pipes & Drums band is the premiere competition and performance pipe band in south central Kansas. You can catch them all over, as they will be performing in various locations around town on St Patrick's Day. Check out their schedule below:
